Don't miss the Parade - Dec 6th! 4pm!
This is the time of year where people aremore aware of the hardships going on and begin to become more generous and thoughtful of others. With that being said, I am proud to say Latinos on the Move collected four boxes full of food and two turkeys. Latinos on the Move thanks the following people / agencies for their contributions of food, paper goods, and turkeys for the Thanksgiving food drive: Daniel & Bibiana Blair, Patricia Carty, the Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester & staff at 1555 Elm Street, and the Elliot Hospital in Manchester. The staff of Latinos on the Move picked up the collected items from the above places and distributed them to the homeless veterans Liberty House, a family in need in the Manchester area, and the YWCA in Manchester for battered and homeless women..... A heart-full THANK YOU to all involved. The feeling that Latinos on the Move had when this delivery was completed are more than words can explain. It was truly an amazing act of selflessness among the members who helped make this possible. We here at Latinos on the Move wish all of you, Happy Holidays and a prosperous and healthy New Year.
Feliz Navidad y un Prospero Año 2009
Together we can make 2009 successful!
